Designing Bianca’s Bridal Party Dresses
Bianca, a longtime friend, reached out to me with an exciting challenge—to design dresses for her seven bridesmaids and two flower girls for her wedding on April 6, 2023, at the beautiful Lace on Timber. Set in an elegant, romantic venue, this wedding called for timeless yet captivating designs that reflected the love and joy of the day. Bianca envisioned elegant burgundy dresses for her bridesmaids and sweet, coordinated outfits for her flower girls, creating a unified and memorable look for her bridal party.
The Art of Bianca’s Bridal Dresses
Bridesmaid Dresses: Elegant off-the-shoulder A-line dresses in rich burgundy with a chic slit, crafted from soft lining and flowing georgette for comfort and grace.
Flower Girl Dresses: Adorable petal skirts in organza paired with boat-neck tops in scuba charmaine, complete with a sequined belt to match the bridesmaids’ dresses.
Hilda’s Dress: A sage green dress with a removable lace top and three-quarter sleeves, revealing a princess-line dress with a full-circle skirt in georgette and milano satin.

A Heartfelt Experience
Working on Bianca’s wedding attire was a special and nostalgic journey, filled with joy, laughter, and meaningful memories. From teenage sleepovers to this life milestone, being part of Bianca’s wedding day was truly touching. One memorable moment on the wedding day involved a sewing kit in my bag—ready for last-minute fixes, though it ended up being needed for Byron’s pants after a lively dance! Moments like these make each project unique and deeply rewarding.
As Bianca and Byron begin their next chapter, they recently welcomed twin boys on March 15, 2024. My heart is full, wishing them all the happiness as they embark on this new adventure as parents.
